DESCRIPTION
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead equipment planning and layout of fabrication department working with the Fabrications Manager.
- Work closely with Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering to determine best approaches to fabrication of components optimizing delivery and quality requirements
- Analyze requirements and make recommendations for facility systems, processes, training, equipment needs, tooling and fixture for Fabrication
- Oversee the transition of products from either internal or external sources to our manufacturing plant.
- Develop capital equipment and small tooling proposals required for PIC fabrication and manufacturing
- Develop and/or improve process automation of existing or new manufacturing processes
- Work with production and engineers on new product introductions
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments on changes and various needs.
- Measure and analyze manufacturing efficiencies and work with various departments to optimize workflow

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of related experience preferred
- Proficiency in Solidworks, CAD/CAM or other similar 3D Modeling/Design and fabrications software
- CNC and other relative machine fabrications programming
- Ability to be out on a manufacturing/assembly floor
- Work with Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills
